Our goal was to begin construction this fall and have the building ready for use next August. We are on track to meet that goal! The exterior was redesigned with a more traditional feel, so it complements the beautiful campus, and inside there is still room to grow. It features offices, a band room, makerspace, technology suite, two state-of-the-art science labs, and several other classrooms, as well as dorm rooms and faculty apartments.
Rivermont Collegiate is currently ranked the number one college-preparatory school in Iowa and the number one STEAM school – but we need this building if we are to reach the heights I know we’re capable of reaching.
Funding and building the STEAM center is the final phase of the school’s two-year, “From Rivermont’s Doors, The World!” campaign. Many people have worked tirelessly to make this a reality. We are thankful to everyone for believing in the vision for the future of our school and its students, and who contributed to help make it happen.
