Rivermont students, Olivia Schroeder (grade 8), Siri Pothula (grade 7), Angela Jones (grade 9), and Nikhil Wagher (grade 12), participated in the Eastern Iowa Regional Science Fair and the Iowa State Science and Technology Fair over spring break. These students spent countless hours researching, experimenting, and practicing. They represented the school with the utmost class and character.

Nikhil Wagher

  • 1st Place in the Category of Engineering
  • Honorable Mention Special Awards for Engineering ($50 Monetary Award)
  • Reserve Champion – 3rd place Overall for the Fair ($1200 Monetary Award)
  • Intel Qualifier – he is one of 5 students representing Iowa to show his project to the International Science and Technology Fair in Pittsburgh, PA in May (all expenses paid).
